Artist's Comments

Faith is another character I designed for the graphic novel I'm working on. She doesnt have a big role in the story, but I like her so sometimes I draw her on her own. She's the sister of Candelario, if anyone's keeping track of the characters :)
Yup, the costume _is_ vaguely inspired in Avril Lavigne's :D And the face is inspired on Christina Ricci, even if it's taken a different direction since then. I'm a big fan of her, I actually got to give her the original of this drawing :giggle:

wow she looks sassy XD I like her outfit! The cutoff blouse with the detached striped sleeves are very savvy looking~ you used marker to color this yeah? It really gives the image texture~ and those flowers in the background really give this whole picture a very professional looking touch! It really looks like it's meant to be published on book~ Great job!

Thanks! I drew it on pencil and coloured it with acrylics (watered down). The background is CG. I've seen a bit of your gallery and it looks really cool, I want to check it later with more time :nod:

Thank you so much! I didn't use markers, I don't have any ;_; they good ones are so expensive... I used a different technique of acrylics, from light to dark.

oooo wow~! the scan looked a lot like markers XD and yes the good ones are sooo expensive. T____T That's why I end up CGing the colors for my pictures~ But even that is difficult cause I'm too poor to afford a tablet so I'm stuck using a mouse XD *sigh~*

Anyways, wooow you used acrylic paint to color it~! *_* That's awesome~~ I wish I could do that!

I can SO relate *sympathetic hug*. I can't afford a tablet either, so I have to struggle with my temperamental mouse *heavy sigh* People do wonders with tablets, I HAVE to get one *shakes fist at the sky*
