I've been meaning to do part 2 of my textures tut for the LONGEST time. I'm very happy with the response I got from the first one, particularily the people that put it into practise and let me see their results. This one is just an advanced version of the same technique, so I hope you find this one helpful too.
This tut is based on Photoshop, it works on pretty much every version of it.

One last tip would be: don't go too crazy with the textures, as it might end up looking tacky. I know that because I always go over the top and end up having to go back a little

Kind sir, I am very fond of this tutorial, and now feel like a dope for never combining my knowledge of "how to make graphic-y thingies in PS" with my lesser-developed knowledge of "how to draw/paint/illustrate in PS." Thank you very much!
